A 77 year old technology student was asked by a ten year old student about her gray hair and how it became so white; she replied “I lived it (B. Hall, a BTOP Student at Rancho Cienga Computer Lab, 2012)."
My Action Research work examines teaching technology literacy to an intergenerational student body. By applying the constructivist theory, students became technology literate by incorporating technology in their daily life experiences, including researching and applying to colleges, job hunting, staying abreast of current affairs and communicating/socializing with others.
